The plan is to head to Santiago de Compostella and meet up with Howard and family for half-term on 29th May. I've got 10 days to find somewhere and get set-up. Avani is not a fan of camping, or maybe that's my style of camping, so expecting them to spend a day before heading off in search of comfortable accomodation, leaving Kian and me to enjoy ourselves. So I have 10 days to find somewhere to stay around Santiago.
Why not head back to Llanes and Poo where I stayed last year? I did just that only to find La Concha Camping only open at weekends, so now to Troenzo. A really good site with paved roads and all the buildings built from stone. The stone must have been recovered when the sites were excavated, odd shapes and sizes and not very flat to walk on, a bit like walking on a rolling ship, or was that the Rioja with the Pizza?
The site is on a hillside overlooking a small creek.

A hairy friend happily munching on the freshly mown grass.
Two nights here, Wednesday and Thursday 17 & 18 May, heading west on Friday.
