Off off and away 2023

So I made it to Portsmouth, before the ferry sailed, but not quite in time to let me on board. Brittany Ferries rebooked me for the following Monday. I blame the rail strike and it was a Poet's Day. I can see an alternative view; wasn't ready, didn't allow enough time, left late.......

I did consider heading to Camber Sands for some kite surfing, but in reality my hand still hursts from crashing my bike and I had left a few things behind, so I returned home.

This time I packed everything - I think!

I added stork lights to the trailer. I'm hoping I'll now be able to back the trailer in the dark and avoid jack knifing it into the back of the bus.

........ and yes, I did make Monday's ferry
