4th June St. Notre Dame-de-Monts

Still camping at Tonnelles I spent time getting the fridge to work, nothing wrong with it before landing here. After much research it turned out to be the 12v extension lead, not compatible with the fridge. Back to cold beers and a beautiful evening, feeling good I took the bike down to the beach.

It was fun riding along the sand, so I kept going and rode the 3km to St. Notre Dame-de-Monts and watched the sun set. So what to do now, I didn't fancy riding the beach in the dark so took to the road, although I was hungrey I felt I'd make the 3km back with ease. I probably would if I hadn't got lost and headed out into the country. So I headed back to town where I sadly fell off my bike. Now with mangled bike and serious grazes to knee and elbow and it was getting late, I was fortunate to get a lift back to camp. Not the best planned outing, I'll remember to be more circumspect next time.
