A great kitesurfing location. There is parking by the beach and a beach bar.

A great shallow water beach and on-shore wind. Kite-Spirit the local school took up the centre of the beach so I chose upwind. Rigged and launched ok but once in the water struggled to stay upwind. Still I was getting on the board ok inbetween waves.
Landed safely and packed up ok before setting off to checkout a the municipal camping park, I was still in my wetsuit, cold and wanted a shower. These parks are barrier controlled taking card payment and I struggled to gain access but once in drove round looking for the facilities. What facilities? I now understands these are just van parks with no facilities and occupied by massive wanabegoes with their own facilities. I was mad having paid for the night but still no shower! Whack the machine into reverse and 'bang', hit the only tree around. Still mad I left in search of a proper campsite. Checking all the local possibilities every reception was closed and where I could find anyone around, they weren't about to take responsibility for me. The only advice I got was - rough camp on Kerhillio beach, which I had just left. I drove back to La Trinite.
